Our health and safety strategy reflects the philosophy of the Company in striving towards continuous improvement in every aspect of the business.

Our excellent health and safety record is a credit to everyone within the Company and to our valued Supply Chain.

Our health and safety management systems are accredited within the Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS) and we can act in the role of both Principal Contractor and Principal Designer in accordance with the CDM Regulations 2015.

We are also members of the Considerate Constructors Scheme which strives to improve the image of construction and standards on construction projects.

Our commitment towards continually improving our health and safety standards is supported by a similar commitment to training our dedicated team of management and workforce professionals.  In addition to our structured training programme for all individuals within the company we allocate two health and safety shutdown days every year to concentrate solely on health and safety training and employee involvement.

As a consequence we have developed a team of highly trained, multi-disciplined management and workforce professionals with the skills, knowledge and experience to deliver a wide range of Building and/or Civil Engineering Projects across numerous sectors.

We have two Construction Ambassadors within the Company and are actively supporting the Lancashire Working Well Together Group as well as the Cumbria and Lancashire Training Groups.
